New Zealand & the Kiwi.

New Zealand, belonging to the British Commonwealth, comprises the double island of the same name & the neighbouring smaller islands.

Due to the early detachment of the Australian continental plateau from the original plateau, many kinds of animals developed on New Zealand, which can be found only there.

Among this is also the Kiwi, which belongs to the family of Ostriches. 

The stamp & coin cover is dedicated to this Kiwi. The round stamp is a real rarity, which harmonizes excellently with the coin on the stamp & coin cover.
