NEW ZEALAND KIWI DOLLAR COLLECTION.

New Zealand is soon to issue new $1 and $2 coins to replace it's bank notes of similar value.

Following the introduction of the new coins, the notes will remain legal tender but will gradually disappear from circulation as they are returned to the Reserve Bank. No further notes will be issued following the public release of the coins.

In order to commemorate this historic event the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, in connection with the Royal Mint, has fashioned this Unique Collectors' item featuring the first minted $1 and $2 coins crafted in brilliant uncirculated condition, alongside the very last printed series of $1 and $2 notes in crisp, uncirculated condition ...
